The 10th China Mining Event, along with the 5th China Minerals Exhibition Fair, was held in Beijing, China between Nov. 11 and Nov. 13, 2008. It was sponsored by the Ministry of Land and Resources (MOLAR) w/the theme "Meeting new challenges and promoting prosperity and sustainability of mining activities." Being a leading annual forum in Asia for mining activities, the China Mining Event has become a significant gathering of both internal and external mining experts and specialists, providing a sound platform and a channel for business cooperation and networking among domestic and foreign mining enterprises.
