Wade Watson (founder of Ruff&Cut) invited Elle Magazine staffers to Sierra Leone to witness how his company is creating a socially responsible brand there. Each piece of Ruff&Cut jewelry comes with a card that reveals the charity in Sierra Leone to which 5% of the retail cost will be donated. The article, entitled "Hope Diamonds" on page 106, is only available in the print version of the magazine's December 2008 issue.
